VIZI BEAM RXONE

The newest fixture in ADJ’s popular Vizi Series, the Vizi Beam RXONE, is a compact and quick moving head with a potent 1R MSD long life lamp that produces a super sharp 3-degree beam of light that travels up to 100 meters. This 16-bit, nimble mover also includes a frost filter to give the beam a wash effect of 21-degrees making this fixture very useful for a variety of portable and permanent applications.

The QU-PAD

Add the Qu-Pad iPad app to your Qu setup and you’re free to adjust the monitors on stage, roam around the venue whilst tweaking the PA, and then mix the show from the heart of the audience. Qu-Pad connects to the mixer over Wi-Fi and gives instant access to live mixing parameters and settings. Qu-Pad requires the connection of a Wi-Fi router or access point to the mixer’s Network port.

Qu-You allows up to seven performers to control their monitor mixes using an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch or Android device, and frees up the engineer to focus on the audience.

The main Four Wheel Drive view presents all the key controls in a super easy format, with chunky thumbwheels to control 4 groups of sources, plus a master mute and output level control. Unlike some apps on the market, Qu-You shows all controls in either orientations (anyone who has ever tried to rotate an iPhone and play a guitar at the same time will know why this matters!).

Double tapping on a group thumbwheel gives access to individual channel metering, send levels and stereo pan. Groups can be named for instant recognition and channels can be assigned to groups via simple checkboxes, allowing the user to quickly create their perfect custom mix.

A flexible, forward-thinking and affordable GOBO projector that easily doubles as an effective spotlight unit, ADJ’s new Ikon Profile combines a powerful 32W LED, an interchangeable glass GOBO and manually adjustable beam angle/focus features in one exceptionally portable package!

ADJ’s commitment to providing lighting solutions that are not only forward-thinking and cost-effective, but highly versatile too, means users will find a number of features that make the Ikon Profile suited to a range of events and situations. For starters, the beam angle may be manually adjusted (15-40-degrees) and the GOBO swapped out, effectively allowing the projector to be turn instantly turned into a spotlight. In terms of operation, the 16RX can be controlled using the expansive 19-channel DMX mode, which provides unrestricted control over its vast range of game-changing features. While the Vizi Hybrid 16RX’s stepper motors (with micro stepping) allow its beams and effects to be positioned accurately, they also allow the excitement and energy of the user’s lightshow to be super-charged with rapid, dynamic 360-degree pan and 270-degree tilt movement. ADJ has ensured that users can also adjust the speed of the head’s movement and use the Pan/Tilt Invert setting to reverse the pan/tilt movement across multiple fixtures, for a symmetrical and visually pleasing display. Crystal Sound And Light would recommend using an external touch screen monitor with the FLX

as this gives you the option to have one of two different desktops – “Programming” or “Palettes”.

The Programming desktop shows the Output Window in the top half of the screen,

and either the Playback window or the Playbacks Summary window in the bottom half.

Which one is being viewed can be switched by tapping the View button.

The Palettes desktop shows the four attribute windows (Colour, Beam, Position and Shape) in each corner.

When viewing this desktop, the internal monitor automatically switches to the groups window.
